We recognize that recruiting talented players requires providing attractive benefits. That’s why we’ve paid special attention to the benefits package we offer.

Competitive salaries and performance-based bonuses apply across the board. We also offer a number of additional benefits to eligible team members working 20 or more hours per week.

Insurance

You can’t predict when an emergency will happen, and we believe it’s important to be prepared. Medical, vision and life insurance are paid by the firm for each employee working an average of 20 hours per week.  Dependent coverage is also available.  Because our employees have different needs, you can choose between a PPO and a High-Deductible HSA plan.  We also offer flexible spending accounts to help you cover out-of-pocket medical expenses and dependent care reimbursements in an efficient and cost-effective way. You will also have access to optional insurance policies, such as AFLAC.

Flexibility

You juggle a lot of responsibilities. Not just at work, but in your personal life, too. We understand that your work at our firm is only one of the many roles and responsibilities you manage. We believe our team members reach their full potential when a healthy work-life balance is achieved. In addition to eight paid holidays per year, our generous paid time off (PTO) program is designed to provide flexibility for you to take time off from work for a variety of reasons. We also offer alternative work arrangements that include part-time schedules, telecommuting, and compressed work weeks.

Retirement

When you retire, you might dream of owning an RV and driving across the U.S. Or maybe you want to relax on a beach somewhere warm. Whatever your dreams may be, we hope that our generous profit sharing plan will help take you there.  In addition to profit sharing, you will also have the opportunity to invest your own dollars into the company-provided 401k plan.

Membership

Membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA) is not only a benefit for individual team members, but also for the reputation of the firm. Because we believe these memberships are so valuable, we cover membership dues to both of these organizations for every CPA. The firm also helps provide a discount for CPA exam study materials, provides time off to take exams, reimburses exam fees when the exam is passed successfully, and provides a bonus when all the exams have been successfully completed.

Ongoing education

We believe learning shouldn’t stop after college. To help our team stay on top of the latest ideas and practices, we offer CPE by in-house experts and encourage attendance at applicable outside seminars and conferences. We also take advantage of computer-based training and webinars to make learning easy, convenient and effective.
