Hi, I'm Jessaca.
I have practiced in public accounting since 2004. I primarily work with closely held businesses and their owners with an emphasis on international taxation. I advise clients on international tax and foreign disclosure issues, entity structuring, planning for the sale of real estate (including FIRPTA compliance and withholding), and planning for the expansion of foreign-owned businesses into the U.S.
I have spoken before business professionals in the U.S. and Canada on a number of topics, including U.S. taxation, withholding, reporting, and structuring of foreign-owned U.S. real estate, structuring a cross-border business for income tax efficiency, U.S. federal and state taxation of Canadian-based businesses and tax planning for businesses and individuals.
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Central Washington University. Prior to joining Larson Gross, I worked for a large CPA firm’s International tax practice. I’m a former member of Whatcom Women in Business and a past finance committee member of the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
I keep busy outside the office with my husband and two daughters. Together, we love exploring the outdoors — trail running, skiing, hiking, bicycling, paddle boarding, wakeboarding…you name it, we do it!
