Marketing Intern-Paid Position

We are currently offering a part-time temporary internship for fall quarter (may be available spring quarter too). The Marketing Intern provides administrative support for a wide variety of marketing projects directed by the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing Manager in the overall implementation of the annual key marketing objectives, or other assignments as assigned. During the duration of your internship, you will have the opportunity to assist with the following: •Write, layout and update firm’s collateral materials for print and digital dissemination. •Create new Lobby TV slides that focus on client success stories and LG’s community involvement. •Create internal break room TV slides that align with internal communications calendar. •Coordinate firm-sponsored events to include research, payment of fees, and coordinating the scheduling of attendees. •Edit and crop new staff photos for social media sites •Assist with research of industry associations and potential involvement for our practice/industry leaders (e.g., construction or nonprofit industry opportunities) •Edit and/or crop new staff photos for LinkedIn images or website (if timing is appropriate). •Facilitate ordering of LG-apparel items for new staff (if timing is appropriate). •Assist marketing manager with website and social media as needed Preferred Qualifications: • Proficiency with Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) plus an aptitude to easily learn other software programs in a Windows PC environment. • Hands-on familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat. • Basic proficiency with graphic design and desktop publishing. • Strong business, technical and narrative storytelling writing skills with a proficiency in grammar and proofreading. • Professional communication skills to effectively work with team members inside our firm and external vendors. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
