Hi, I'm Klayton.
I started at Larson Gross as an intern during tax season in 2010, and I joined full time that Fall. I’m a graduate of Western Washington University where I received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. The following year, 2011, I received by CPA license.
Honesty, integrity, and authentic relationships are important to me. As a senior manager at Larson Gross, I enjoy working with clients who appreciate the same and whose hard work have made our community strong and successful.
My roots are firmly planted in Whatcom County where my family has lived and worked the land for over 70+ years. I grew up working in the dairy industry and that real-world work experience shapes my understanding of the challenges clients face and influences my practical approach to problem solving. I recognize that not every issue requires a complex solution, and this often allows me to identify more straightforward, cost-effective solutions for my clients.
I am passionate about supporting business owners and management teams in the agriculture and dairy industries to help them identify and accomplish their long-term business and personal goals. Whether its tax planning or consulting, being invited to sit at the proverbial table to help my clients is meaningful and fulfilling.
When I’m not working, I enjoy rodeo, horse training, skiing and snowboarding, sports, and working around our property. With my wife and daughter, we have Quarter horses, two Australian Shepherd dogs, and cats on our ranch in Whatcom County. My wife and I serve on various boards supporting both our personal and professional interests.
