Hi, I'm Andy.

I joined Larson Gross as a Senior Tax Manager in June 2022, bringing with me extensive public-accounting experience focused on U.S. and international taxation. Before joining the firm, I built a strong technical foundation in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services while working at several established CPA firms in the greater Seattle area. I’m a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington State and hold an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University, along with dual B.S. degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Central Washington University.

At Larson Gross, I’m a key member of our International Tax (iTax) practice, specializing in cross-border matters—particularly inbound U.S. taxation for foreign-owned enterprises. I guide Canadian companies expanding into the U.S. on entity structuring, federal and state compliance, cross-border planning, application of the U.S.–Canada income-tax treaty, transfer pricing, and risk mitigation. My consultative, solutions-oriented approach helps clients navigate complex regulations, reduce risk, and enhance long-term tax efficiency while aligning tax strategies with broader business goals.

As a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese, I leverage my bicultural and multilingual background to serve a diverse client base both domestically and abroad. This cultural fluency, combined with technical expertise, allows me to advise closely held, entrepreneurial, and family-owned businesses on the opportunities and challenges of cross-border operations.

I’m passionate about educating clients on evolving tax laws and helping them implement strategies that optimize their global effective tax rate and support sustainable growth. Clients value the long-term relationships we build—grounded in trust, responsiveness, and in-depth industry knowledge.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest’s outdoors, traveling internationally, experimenting in the kitchen, hosting social gatherings, and keeping up with U.S. tax developments—even on quiet Sunday afternoons.
