Hi, I'm Dan.
I began my career at Larson Gross in 2012. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Operations Management from Western Washington University.
I specialize in serving owner-operated businesses in the areas of taxation, proactive tax planning, profitability analyses, ownership transition, and various other types of strategic business planning. I particularly enjoy being forward looking and helping businesses create clarity around their future. I have experience working with clients in the agriculture, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and professional services industries.
Since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was enacted in late 2017, I’ve been the firm’s leading subject matter resource on the Qualified Business Income Deduction, educating businesses on the advantages, disadvantages and impacts of the new provision.
I was born and raised in Whatcom County. When I’m not serving clients or brushing up on the latest tax regulations, I’m enjoying all things outdoors with my family, including camping, fishing, hunting and archery. Me and my wife, Shelli, also keep busy with our two daughters and son.
