Hi, I'm Jeff.
I serve as Director of Larson Gross’s Captive Insurance practice, bringing more than 20 years of experience across insurance and accounting. My work centers on helping clients understand how captives operate and navigate the financial, tax, and administrative responsibilities of their captive insurance companies.
I have specialized in captive insurance since 2008, serving in a CFO capacity for clients’ captives and supporting everything from formation and ongoing management to financial statement preparation, tax reporting, and annual audit coordination. Before joining Larson Gross, I held director roles in captive insurance consulting and tax insurance services at Ryan, LLC, following several years with Artex Risk Solutions. This experience gives me a practical understanding of both the day-to-day operations and broader financial considerations involved in managing a captive.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hiram College in Ohio. One of my proudest professional accomplishments was being selected for my previous firm’s Leadership Acceleration Program, an opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills and prepare for the next step in my career.
Originally from northeast Ohio, I now live in Arkansas with my wife, Jen, and our three children. Outside of work, I enjoy baseball, NASCAR, hunting, and spending time with my family. We also volunteer together at community events. A good sense of humor is a big part of who I am, and I believe there’s always room for a little laughter in everyday life.
