Hi, I'm Kim.

I serve as a Director in Larson Gross’s Captive Insurance practice, bringing more than 30 years of experience across insurance, accounting, and financial management. My approach centers on proactive communication, strong client relationships, and helping captive owners navigate the financial and operational responsibilities of their insurance companies.

I have specialized in captive insurance since 2006, with experience spanning captive formation, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk pool management. Before joining Larson Gross, I held leadership roles with Ryan, LLC and Artex, including more than a decade as Director of Risk Management at Ryan. My background includes managing captive portfolios and overseeing a risk pool serving more than 400 captives. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with clients, auditors, actuaries, regulators, and other advisors to coordinate reporting requirements and support effective captive operations.

I studied accounting at Western Nevada Community College and have continued my professional education in captive insurance and alternative risk transfer. My experience also includes training and mentoring colleagues, helping them build their technical knowledge and understanding of captive operations.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, working out with friends, and spending time with my family. My husband and I have two grown sons and four grandchildren, and we share our home with our chocolate Lab, Huck. Giving back has also been part of our lives, from volunteering at our church to establishing a booster club that supported athletics at our youngest son’s high school. When it’s time to unwind, I enjoy relaxing on our patio by the pool.
