That’s one question you won’t be asking at Larson Gross. While some firms might recognize your unique ability to make photocopies or alphabetize files, at Larson Gross we know you have much more to offer. Whether you are an intern or a seasoned professional, you will always play a critical role in serving clients when you work with us. In return, we’ll always make sure you’re equipped with the technology and resources you need to be successful.

So, what’s it like here?

We don’t expect you to have all the answers. In fact, we suspect you will have a number of questions. You’ll work in close collaboration with more seasoned team members and even interact with our Partners. This approach gives you the opportunity to ask questions, clarify expectations and get lots of hands-on experience.

While we’re here to help you navigate your first steps into the world of accounting, we’re also here to help you advance your career to the next level. We offer regular, ongoing education to encourage and develop relevant skills, and we have Career Profiles for all roles within our firm. These profiles help you understand what is expected of you, the various opportunities available for development and how best to advance your career to the next level.

We understand that becoming a CPA is a critical step in your career path. We encourage all new team members to obtain their CPA certifications as early in their careers as possible. While the certification process is your responsibility, we support you with financial assistance toward exam fees and a bonus for achieving the designation. We also pass along discounts for exam materials and provide you paid time off for exam days.

Your work with us is only one of the many roles and responsibilities you manage in life. We understand. You might have a huge exam on Monday. Or you might have plans to travel home for the holidays. At Larson Gross, we believe our team members reach their potential when a healthy work-life balance is achieved.  While you will have a generous amount of paid time off (PTO) as a full-time professional, if somewhere along your career path you need a seasonal or part-time schedule, desire to telecommute, or think a compressed work schedule is ideal, you are in good company:  nearly 40% of our staff work a non-traditional schedule.

In addition to a competitive salary and great benefits package, these are just a few advantages of choosing Larson Gross.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about starting your career at Larson Gross.
